Visitors come from around the world to see the awe inspiring views from the viewpoints at Bryce Canyon. The oddly shaped hoodoos (rock spires)are the subject of many photographs. Visitors can hike our trails above the rim or down below amongst the hoodoos. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes when hiking below the rim. Bryce Canyon National Park has a visitor center with a museum and bookstore. Visitors are encouraged to view the 20 minute award winning orientation film before embarking out into the park. The last of the original lodges built by the Union Pacific Railroad in the 1920's provides lodging, dining and a gift shop for visitors to enjoy.
